Dr. Than is a friendly, caring, and easy-to-talk-to optometrist who attended the University of California, San Diego. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Neuroscience. In 2008, she earned her Doctorate from The New England College of Optometry and completed her Residency in Ocular Disease and Low Vision from The Southern California College of Optometry in 2009.

Dr. Than’s residency training, particularly at the Veterans Affairs Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center, advanced her skills in specialized eye care. Her extensive training encompasses all aspects of optometric care, including fitting various contact lens designs and managing and treating different stages of ocular pathologies. Concurrently, Dr. Than is working at the Navy Air Station North Island in San Diego, serving our military community.

Her goal is to devote her skills to protecting the eye health of all her patients and to style them with fresh, sophisticated-looking frames. Outside of work, she enjoys walking the beach, traveling, meditating, and growing rare flowers and exotic fruit trees.
